The pneumatic Alumina ceramic double-eccentric double-flanged butterfly valve is an industrial valve integrating pneumatic drive, ceramic sealing, and a double-eccentric structure, primarily used for controlling fluid media.
Working Principle:
When the control system issues a command, compressed air enters the cylinder of the pneumatic actuator, pushing the piston to move, which in turn rotates the butterfly plate via a connecting rod mechanism. Due to the double-eccentric design, during opening, the butterfly plate first moves away from the valve seat along the axial eccentric direction, then rotates to open further along the radial eccentric direction until it reaches the fully open position; the closing process is the opposite, with the butterfly plate gradually contacting the valve seat and forming a seal under the action of compressed air, finally completely closing the valve.
Structural Features:
1. Double-eccentric design: The butterfly plate has both axial and radial eccentricity relative to the valve body centerline. This design causes the butterfly plate to first disengage from the valve seat during opening, then rotate to the fully open position, and vice versa during closing, reducing friction and wear between the butterfly plate and the valve seat, and improving sealing performance.
2. Ceramic Sealing Components: The sealing surfaces of the butterfly plate and valve seat are made of alumina ceramic material, characterized by high hardness, strong wear resistance, and good corrosion resistance, effectively resisting the erosion and corrosion of particles in the medium.
3. Double Flange Connection: The valve uses flange connections at both ends, facilitating installation and disassembly. It can be directly connected to pipeline flanges, ensuring the sealing and stability of the connection.
4. Pneumatic Actuator: Typically composed of cylinders, pistons, springs, etc., it uses compressed air as a power source and, through devices such as solenoid valves or pneumatic control boxes, enables remote control and rapid opening and closing of the valve.

1. Excellent Sealing Performance: The ceramic sealing surface is precision ground, combined with a double eccentric structure, achieving a "tighter as it closes" sealing effect with low leakage. Some products can achieve bubble-level sealing.
2. High Wear Resistance: The high hardness of alumina ceramic allows it to maintain good wear resistance in media containing particulate impurities, extending the valve's service life.
3. Wide Corrosion Resistance: The ceramic material exhibits virtually no reaction to corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts, allowing for stable operation under highly corrosive conditions.
4. Precise Flow Control: The butterfly plate features a single-plate structure, providing a large flow area and minimal pressure loss when fully open. Flow rate can be precisely adjusted by rotating the butterfly plate (0°-90°), combining both shut-off and regulation functions.

Widely used in chemical, mining, environmental protection, power, and metallurgical industries, such as in chemical wastewater treatment containing slag, mining slurry transportation, power plant desulfurization and denitrification systems, and metallurgical pickling lines.
