Ceramic Steel Composite Pipe Abrasion Resistant Armored Tube

Ceramic Steel Composite Pipe Abrasion Resistant Armored Tube

The outer layer of ceramic-steel composite wear-resistant armored pipe is steel pipe, and the inner layer is corundum ceramic. The corundum layer has a Vickers hardness of 1100-1500, equivalent to tungsten-cobalt cemented carbide, and a Mohs hardness of 9, second only to diamond and silicon carbide, making it the hardest of all oxides. The outer steel pipe provides excellent toughness and strength, making the pipe both wear-resistant and impact-resistant.

Ceramic Steel Composite Pipe Abrasion Resistant Armored Tube, also known as wear-resistant Ceramic-steel composite pipe, is a type of pipe with excellent wear resistance. The following is a detailed introduction:

Structure and Materials

The outer layer of ceramic-steel composite wear-resistant armored pipe is steel pipe, and the inner layer is corundum ceramic. The corundum layer has a Vickers hardness of 1100-1500, equivalent to tungsten-cobalt cemented carbide, and a Mohs hardness of 9, second only to diamond and silicon carbide, making it the hardest of all oxides. The outer steel pipe provides excellent toughness and strength, making the pipe both wear-resistant and impact-resistant.

Performance

High Wear Resistance: Its wear resistance is over 20 times higher than that of carbon steel pipe, and its wear life is ten or even dozens of times longer than that of hardened steel. For example, in power plant primary air ducts, the wear resistance of wear-resistant ceramic-steel composite pipe bends is over five times higher than that of thick-walled wear-resistant cast steel bends. Corrosion and Scale Resistance: The ceramic layer is neutral in nature, resistant to acid, alkali, and seawater corrosion. It also prevents scaling and resists various inorganic acids, organic acids, and organic solvents, with corrosion resistance over ten times that of stainless steel.

Excellent Temperature and Thermal Shock Resistance: The pipe can operate normally over a temperature range of -50°C to 700°C. Due to the unique structure and stress field created by the process, the corundum and steel layers possess excellent thermal stability. When the temperature rises to 900°C, the wear-resistant Ceramic lined pipe can be immersed in cold water and repeatedly soaked without cracking or breaking the composite layer, demonstrating unmatched thermal shock resistance compared to ordinary ceramics.

Low Operating Resistance: The inner surface is smoother than any other metal pipe, with a clear water resistance coefficient of 0.0193, slightly lower than that of seamless pipe, reducing operating costs.

Easy Installation: Its light weight and excellent weldability allow it to be installed using welding, flanges, and quick-connects, simplifying installation and reducing costs. Application Areas

Power Industry: Suitable for conveying pulverized coal, ash and slag, and desulfurization slurry in power plants.

Mining Industry: Suitable for conveying coal-water slurry, coal washing sludge, mine fillers, and pulverized coal in the coal industry, as well as for conveying concentrates and tailings in metal mines.

Metallurgy Industry: Suitable for blast furnace coal injection and slag conveying in steel mills, as well as for conveying ferroalloys and refining in steelmaking.

Other Industries: Widely used in cement plants for conveying raw slurry, pulverized coal, elevator unloading, and concrete conveying in rotary kiln wet process production lines.
