Steel-backed Ceramic Linings. Alumina Industrial wear-resistant ceramic plates and linings are commonly used wear-resistant materials in the industrial field.
·Definition and Structure: Typically, this refers to a 92% or 95% alumina wear-resistant ceramic sheet adhered to a steel plate groove using a high-strength organic adhesive or an inorganic adhesive resistant to temperatures up to 350°C. Countersunk bolts then attach to the lining to form a solid, impact-resistant, and wear-resistant layer.
·Features: Highly wear-resistant. Alumina corundum ceramic has a hardness exceeding HRA85, making its wear resistance 271.5 times greater than that of manganese steel. It also offers strong impact resistance, with a toughened ceramic formula ensuring it is resistant to breakage and can withstand the impact of large objects. It can operate for extended periods at temperatures between 0°C and 250°C. The ceramic and steel plate are bonded using a specialized adhesive and bolted together for a secure, non-detachable connection. ·Application areas: Widely used in mining, metallurgy, electric power, ports and other industries, such as coal mine conveyors, metallurgical furnace linings, coal powder nozzles of coal-fired boilers and other equipment, which can effectively resist the impact and wear of materials and extend the service life of equipment.
