OEM Alumina ceramic tubes are custom-made to meet specific customer requirements. They offer high flexibility and tailorability, meeting the unique requirements of diverse industries and applications. The following is a detailed introduction:
Performance Advantages
High Wear Resistance: Rockwell hardness ≥ 85 HRA, 12 times the wear resistance of high-chromium cast iron pipes. Application in coal-fired power plant pulverized gas conveying systems can reduce annual maintenance costs by 78% and downtime by 92%.
Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to highly corrosive media such as 98% concentrated sulfuric acid and 40% hydrofluoric acid, their application in lithium battery cathode material sintering lines can extend pipe replacement cycles from 3 months to 26 months.
High Temperature Resistance: Withstands temperatures up to 1680°C continuously, and exhibits thermal shock resistance 6.2 times greater than traditional metal tubes. For example, they operated continuously for 13,400 hours without wear in the 650°C sulfur-laden flue gas environment of a coking plant. Manufacturing Process
Isostatic Pressing: Isostatic pressing applies uniform pressure to alumina powder, forming it into a mold. This process produces Ceramic Tubes with uniform density and high strength.
Dry Pressing: Processed alumina powder is placed in a mold and formed under pressure. This process is suitable for producing simple-shaped, large-sized ceramic tubes.
Tape Casting: Alumina powder is mixed with a binder, solvent, and other materials to form a slurry. This slurry is then coated into a thin film using a tape casting machine. The resulting ceramic tube blank is then dried and cut to form a green body. This process is suitable for producing thin-walled, high-precision ceramic tubes.
Applications
Steelmaking: Used to transport furnace gases within high-temperature furnaces, capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 1600°C.
Aerospace: Used in high-temperature aircraft components, such as engine parts, to withstand the impact of alternating extreme temperatures.
Chemical Reactor Equipment: In high-temperature, high-pressure reactors, it provides long-term resistance to corrosion from corrosive media such as acids and alkalis. Electronics Industry: Due to its good insulation properties, it can be used for insulating components in electronic devices and some key components in semiconductor manufacturing.
