Al₂O₃ Alumina ceramic linings are a common type of wear-resistant structural Ceramic Lining. Wear-resistant structural ceramic linings are ceramic linings used inside equipment to provide protection against wear, impact, and corrosion. Alumina ceramic linings, due to their excellent performance, play a key role in this category.
Materials and Preparation
Al₂O₃ Alumina ceramic linings are primarily composed of alumina with other ingredients added, sintered at 1700°C. The alumina content is typically no less than 92%, resulting in high hardness and density.
Performance
·High Wear Resistance: Alumina corundum ceramics have a hardness exceeding HRA85 and are 271.5 times more wear-resistant than manganese steel. They effectively resist wear and impact from materials, extending equipment life.
·Impact Resistance: The toughened ceramic formula ensures resistance to breakage. The unique spherical design and high-quality buffer layer provide resistance to impact from large objects.
· High-temperature resistance: Alumina ceramic liners can operate continuously at temperatures between 0°C and 250°C. Some alumina ceramic liners can operate at even higher temperatures, such as 92% Al₂O₃ ceramic liners, which can operate at 750°C.
· Corrosion resistance: Alumina ceramics have stable chemical properties and are resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis, salts, and other chemicals, making them suitable for a variety of harsh working conditions.
· Lightweight and high-strength: Compared to metal materials, alumina ceramic liners have a lower density, generally 3.5-3.8g/cm³, only about half that of steel. This reduces the weight load on equipment while also providing high strength and resisting breakage.
Applications
Widely used in coal conveying, material handling, pulverizing, ash removal, and dust removal systems in industries such as thermal power, steel, smelting, machinery, coal, mining, chemicals, cement, and ports, as well as in all types of machinery subject to high wear, such as ball mills, jaw crushers, fan impellers, and pipe elbows. Installation Methods: The product can be secured using high-temperature inorganic adhesives, arch joints, and stud welding, ensuring long-term operation without falling apart under high-temperature and high-impact conditions.
